Christmas is Coming...

and if this year is anything like years past, I'll be getting lots of orders for Christmas blog designs in the coming weeks. It really is so much fun to have a festive blog and wonderful Christmas music playing when your readers log on to your site. In order for you to get the most use of your Christmas design I'd love to go ahead and get started creating them this week. You and I can come up with the perfect design now and I can wait to post it on your blog until Friday - or whenever you'd like. This way you won't have to wait to get your blog and your readers in the Christmas spirit!
A complete design is $30.00 and I will change your blog back to the previous design after Christmas for $5.00. Another great option is to do a winter design (with snowmen, snowflakes etc) and keep it up for a few months. As always, all designs are completely up to you!
In order to be sure each of you has a unique look for the holidays I'm only going to do 15 Christmas designs so order soon!

EBS Designs cards are completely unique because they are customized just for you. You and your designer (EBS herself, err myself?) will choose everything from your pictures to your layout, print, font and wording. No two orders will look alike and no other card store can offer you this kind of freedom to customize your card!

Here's how it works:
You email me erinschwant@hotmail.com and tell me as many things as you possibly can about what you'd like in a card. Attach a picture or a few (up to 8) and I'll put together a draft and send it back to you. From there you have two free revisions - you can say something like "I like the layout but wish the font were different" or "could you move that picture over to the left side of the card" or "these colors aren't really my favorite, lets do more red." I'll take your feedback, change the card, and email it back to you. If we need to (we probably won't) we can do one more revision at no cost. From there if you want more changes made I'll charge $5.00 per revision.

Once you and I both love your card I'll have them printed and on there way to you! From the time you tell me you love your card to the time it is on your doorstep will be about one week. Get your orders in early because nobody wants you pulling an all nighter to get your cards stamped and addressed in time for the holidays! Once again, I'm only taking 20 orders and I will stop taking orders all together on Friday, December 5th so HURRY and order today!

Thanks so much to all of my great customers! It has been a BUSY week here at EBS Designs and I'm still working on new blogs every chance I get. I now have four "designs in progress" blogs where I post drafts for my customers so that we can tweak them to perfection before I alter their real blog. Having four design blogs really speaks to how much my little business is growing, I used to get by just fine with only one blog for drafts. Now my orders are coming in so much faster that I have to be able to work on lots of designs at once. All this to say, I'm encouraged about the recent growth and I have YOU to thank! I've done some fun and different stuff lately, like designing blogs for youth groups and elementary school classes. I also have a few surprises brewing for you so check back soon.

Giving is GOOD!

We all know it is better to give than to receive but isn't it great when you get to do both? My dear friend Cristy did just that last night when she won the auction to help Nie and her family! Congrats Cristy, I'll be sure to make your blog look great and I'm so thankful for your contribution to the Nielson's recovery. Thank you, thank you to all of you who bid! Benefit Auction

I am participating in this AMAZING auction in order to benefit this family, the parents were badly injured in a plan crash and have four children between the ages of 2-6. You can read all of the details here, start on August 18th and also here. Beware, the more you read about this family the more you will fall in love with them, just as I did. I found myself bookmarking specific posts while reading Nie's Blog, what a cool mom she is! I hope to implement things like back to school feasts, complete with crowns and family themes for the year when my kids get older (and when I have kids, since now I only have a kid!)

New on the EBS scene...

I'm Back and Busy with Backgrounds!

I apologize to my many dear customers for being slow to respond and to fill orders these past couple of months. We were very busy with the move but the real trouble came with our new internet. Finally, three months and EIGHT visits from Comcast later, we have had the outside of the house re-wired and things seem to be running smoothly. I think I'm up to date on all of my current orders but if for some reason you haven't heard from me PLEASE don't hesitate to email again. Since I couldn't upload banners or send emails for so long it is quite possible that some of you may have been lost in the shuffle. If you placed an order with me and somehow it didn't get filled please email me and I'll fill it ASAP at a discounted price.

In other news, I'm having a great time doing backgrounds (like the buttons on this page) and I'd love to do one for you! I'm charging $20.00 (best deal around!) for the background and the usual $5.00 for a matching header. Spring is almost in bloom...

I've been so pleased with the business I've been getting lately! Thanks so much to all of you who have placed orders and to those of you who have put my ad on your blog. It has been really fun to get to read all of the new blogs I find from those of you who order a banner.

Keep those orders coming...we all know spring is in the air and you just can't have your blog looking too wintery for the coming season! Let me help you spruce up for spring!
